There is a growing interest in applying artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning in the GLAM (galleries, libraries, archives, and museums) sector. These technologies offer many potential benefits to the cultural world but also raise challenges and difficult ethical questions.
Our aim with this lesson is to empower GLAM staff with the knowledge and skills to support, participate in, and begin to undertake machine learning-based research and projects with heritage collections.
